> What is the difference between EVO-4 , EVO-5 and EVO-6?

The EVO followed by the number is our indicator for the generation. Starting at EVO-1, we have now recently innovated EVO-6. So what are the differences? EVO-4 features options to play 2 teams, strong and robust vests (this quality has been kept in ALL EVO versions), intelligent software design and overall is just a very good, solid laser tag system. We've seen customers use this system well over 10 years (yes really). EVO-5 allows to play with 6 teams and features multicolor LEDs, you can automated social media marketing and much more. Customers have said they love the DMX integrations, the ability for real time ranking, hot restart and many more options that have truly made EVO-5 a benchmark in the industry. EVO-6 has seen an overhaul of the system. For starters it features a smooth and beautifully designed laser tag vest, it features crystal-clear OLED displays, thick green lasers, even better sound speakers and has more playing options. You can track player statistics using the player app, you can arrange for specialty games such as Zombie modes, all scorescreens have been beautifully designed and even it features a Reality integration which allows you to have your arena react to what is happening in the game. The options in EVO-6 allows you to arrange for an unparalleled player experience. Naturally all strong points of the previous systems are also integrated in this system. In short: the game of laser tag itself has not changed from EVO-1 to any of the other EVO versions as laser tag even today is a game of shooting and be shot in it's core essence. How the EVO differs largely is the maturity of the system. The most recent EVO system will have much, much more options for automation, it will have way less maintenance and all the enhanced game features means that you are able to sell more games to your players. All in all we tend to say: with any generation you can play a perfect, professional game of laser tag while the most recent EVO-6 system is your perfect choice to maximize your business results.

Generally speaking you can expect a lot of groups: birthday groups, corporate groups, families and friends' groups, unless you have a type-specific venue (a children's playground). The age, psychography and demographics of those groups depends on the specific location you are situated in.

General

> What is S.W.A.T. laser and S.W.A.T. light exactly?

The SWAT laser and SWAT light are derived from the special forces. They use a special laser and a special light on their equipment, allowing them to enhance accuracy and their visibility range. With the SWAT laser and SWAT light option in EVO-5 of LaserMaxx, your players can experience laser gaming as if they were really part of a rescue operation of the SWAT!

Technical

> Why do you have a button on your LaserMaxx gun?

The yellow button, is used for two-handed shooting. A player cannot hit anybody without pushing the yellow button. This is done for safety purposes for both the player - so players cannot be physical in their play - the equipment - so it cannot be dropped easily - and play-friendliness - so that cheating is limited as sensors cannot be covered by a hand.

Technical

> Is there a display on the LaserMaxx?

LaserMaxx EVO-6 features a crystal-clear OLED display located on the vest. The reason it is located on the vest as opposed to the gun, is because reality shows that the gun is the most battered piece of equipment. Players will drop it on the ground, smack it against walls, you name it. Having a display on the gun is a major point of failure in design that will lead to you being able to sell less games to players. This is the reason why we have decided to design the gun without display and instead locate it on the vest.

Technical

> How many players can play LaserMaxx at the same time?

LaserMaxx is able to host 6 teams for a total of 64 players at a time.

Technical

> Can you tell me more about charging and battery life of the LaserMaxx?

You can easily charge the LaserMaxx vests through a common electricity socket (110 or 220 volts). The battery itself is able to last 16+ working hours without recharging, more than a full working day.

Technical

> What is the DMX-plugin and what do the letters stand for?

DMX stands for Digital MutlipleXed and it comes from the theater and the club scene. It is a protocol that allows you to adjust and control certain stroboscopes, fog machines and lights of your arena from one central spot – your operator PC. It is a very handy plugin, a real time saver!

Technical

> Can you tell me more about the LaserMaxx gun?

The guns are made of very strong, high durable material. There is a normal trigger, which is a significant advantage to realism as opposed to a button. There is also an extra button on the side of the gun for optional two-handed shooting which a safety option. It prevents players from swinging their guns around with one hand and hurting each other. Additionally, it prevents players from cheating due to the inability to cover up sensors. The cable to attach the gun to the vest we use is the absolute best in the business. The best part of the gun is that we have absolutely no electronics incorporated within the gun, meaning that the durability is extremely high!

Technical

> Does the LaserMaxx damage the human body or clothes?

No, LaserMaxx does not hurt the human body or clothes at all. The laser of the gun is a safe class II laser and we are able to provide a certificate of safety with every set. The LaserMaxx does in no way hurt the human body or clothes whatsoever.

Technical

> Do we get a self repair kit with the package when we finally order?

Just a basic one. One of the key aspects of our system is that it is highly durable. An extensive repair kit is therefore not necessary.

Technical

> What exactly are Powerpods?

PowerPods are multifunction and interactive devices for inside your arena. The PowerPod is a device which can shoot at players, it can give special powers and the PowerPod can also function as a team base for team based games. The PowerPod furthermore hosts a screen to display videos, solid sound speakers for a great sound experience and a photocamera to make an actionphoto of players. In short: the PowerPod is a must-have item. Each system will include at least 1 PowerPod and you can have as much as 8 PowerPods in your system.

Technical

> If I shoot somebody from the side, will he/she be hit?

Yes definitely. We have nine smartly placed hit points on the front, back and the side of the vest as well as one in the gun. This means that if you shoot somebody from the side, it will register a hit as well. It also means that somebody fires from behind a wall with only his gun visible, that he or she can be shot. With LaserMaxx's 100% accuracy on 35+ meters you can be assured of full realism. Regardless of the position you are firing from!

Technical

> What is the shot distance and accuracy of LaserMaxx?

LaserMaxx is able to easily reach 35+ meters. The accuracy when shooting at that distance is a 100%! And trust us, we deliver the best laser gun available in the business!

Technical

> Can I do maintenance on the laser tag equipment myself?

Yes, most maintenance you can do on-site to ensure a high throughput. Most repairs are minor repairs. During the training, we will also explain some things about repairing as well. Major repairs are done at our headquarters where we have the necessary equipment and technical knowledge available. Luckily, you won't have to use it often though, as LaserMaxx is considered extremely durable!

Technical

> Is the laser safe?

Yes, the laser is fully safe as it is a Class II laser. We provide a certificate of safety with every system.

Technical

> Do you offer software plugins for customisation of my location?

Yes, absolutely! Please visit our plugin page for a list of all our useful plugins, especially created to customize your location!

Technical

> What level of interactivity with the arena does the LaserMaxx system provide?

Good question! Especially in EVO-6 interactivity has reached a whole new level. Through a plugin we can deliver you a complete programming tool in which you can let all your arena components realtime react to whatever is happening in the game. This way you can create absolutely thrilling gamestyles that operate absolutely automatically and thus without the need of employee interaction. Did we already mention that this is yet another LaserMaxx unique feature? Contact us to learn more!

Arena

> How much space do I need for my laser tag arena?

The optimal size of your arena depends on the number of LaserMaxx vests that you plan to use, and vice verse. We recommend that you start with not too many vests. If your business expands you can always buy additional vests from us. To answer your question: we recommend approximately 15 sqm per person. Don’t forget that you also need an area to store the vests , an instruction area and preferably a bar.

Arena

> How important are smoke machines for a laser tag arena?

Smoke machines are vital for a laser tag arena. It makes the laser visible and shows where the laser beam is shot at. Players really like smoke machines, so be sure to include enough smoke machines in your new LaserMaxx laser tag arena!

Arena

> Can you design my laser tag arena?

We focus our time and efforts fully on the products and keeping those the best available on the market. At the same time, we do have extensive contacts and we can get you into contact with an arena builder team, that can build the arena for you! But if you want us to help you with designing the arena, that's no problem. We have helped designing over 100 arenas and will do our best to help you with yours! Our architect can even make the drawings for your building team and let's face it; building it yourself is most of the time the quickest, easiest and most inexpensive option available.

Arena

> I have a space of xxx m2 how many vests would you recommend?

Taking your space as a reference point on the amount of vests you would like, is not the best of ideas as it is very likely that you will have either too many or too few vests. Instead determining the best amount of vests is better done by looking at the average size of groups and/or by aligning it to the other activities you have. For instance: if you can drive 20 karts simontanously you might want to consider 24 vests (there’s always a few persons in a group who don’t want to drive karts, but do want to play laser tag.) We can help you in this, just let us know.

Arena

> Do you provide set up for gaming arena also?

We can, though we are usually quite conservative with it since all arena parts are best (and definitely most cost-effectively) purchased locally. This would be much, much less of investment than if any laser tag company would ship the same arena parts you can acquire locally from the other side of the world. What we do however, if you want us to, is that we can provide an arena design based upon your actual blueprint. This would give you an exact amount of walls, black lights, light effects and more that we advise you to place in your arena. With that list, you can go to your local building/electronics shop and purchase the items locally. Alternatively you can also design your own arena via the following free online design tool: contact us.

Arena

> What is the minimum area you'd recommend?

Technically there is no set minimum area, though the size of a decent arena usually starts at about 250 square meters (+/- 2600 square feet), excluding some space for the instruction room (+/- 30 square meters) a vest room (+/- 40 square meters) and possible space for a bar and other activities. It largely depends on how much you have available: We can imagine that within the city you would have and would need less space than you would if you would be outside the city. Contact us for more information!

Arena

> I am not sure what my arena should look like, can you help?

We have noticed that players really like a themed arena with a maze. Think of a theme like Wild-West, Futuristic or anything else that you would like. Use your creativity! A maze is really great because it constantly challenges every player and requires them to think where they are walking to. It also works great if you create a multilevel arena so players can walk upstairs to target players from above. Of course we can get you in touch with a professional arena design team that can help you designing. Contact us and we can show you some great examples of beautiful arenas!

Arena

> I really like the painting of your pictures, how can I get that on my own arena as well?

Let us know, we can get you in touch with an awesome artist we often ask to paint walls.

Arena

> How long does a LaserMaxx lasergame last?

The duration of each game can be chosen by you, the operator. Typical playtime is between 12 and 20 minutes. Please note that 12 minutes is a good time and 20 minutes might be too long for this high-energy game. Obviously, this does not include the time you spend on explaining the rules and watching the enthusiastic players discuss the game while having a drink at your bar. A good turnover rate is 7 groups per two hours. Of course, with LaserMaxx you have an option to change the game time yourself to make sure you will always run efficient at very busy hours in your arena!

Game

> Can I switch individual sensors on or off?

Yes, you can! In each gamestyle you can select which sensor is switched on or off!

Game

> How do players know the game has ended?

When the game ends a couple of things happen. For one: the vests will deactivate, make a sound instructing the players to return to the loading room. Secondly: the music will stop and via the speakers players will also be instructed to return to the loading room. The third action is optional: arenas using DMX usually have set their settings so that for instance stroboscopes will blink slower than in game. The players will return to the loading room, usually finding their way through the arena with UV painted arrows on floors/walls.

Game

> How does the tagging of laser tag guns work?

A 'tag' or 'hit' is made when the beam of light shot by the gun hits the sensors. The sensors emit a small field covering the body of the person wearing the vest, making sure a hit is registered if any part of the body is touched by the beam. The Lasergun of LaserMaxx is the best available in the business. We ensure that if you shoot someone, you hit him/her with 100% accuracy and without hitting another player at the same time. We give you 100% shooting accuracy over 35+ meters and trust us, this is the best in the business.

Game

> Can you tell me how the points are calculated within the laser game?

The operator of the arena can customize himself how much points are deducted when hit, how much points are earned when you have hit another player and much more. We have created our system so that the operator can customize a lot of functions himself to how his players like the game best. The best way to experience the different options within the game is by coming over to our demo setup at our headquarters or to contact one of our distributors! For more information on the different aspects of the game please visit the players section.

Game

> How many different game modes can be played?

Literally thousands. How? We have programmed our system in an open manner. This means that you can use the variables to find your perfect game style based upon your own wishes and your customer desires.

Game

> Do you offer a membership solution for players?

Yes we do. In fact, we have made it so that every player is fully capable of having a player profile/membership without the need to distribute membership cards (as these are marginal costs some of our customers would not like to have). Please have a look at https://my.lasermaxx.com or download the LaserMaxx app in the iOS or Android store. Prefer printed (RFID) membershipcards instead? In our system this is also possible!

Game

> Is it possible to place extra targets in the arena which can give players bonuses?

Yes. The PowerPods will give players special powers (rapid fire, invisibility, invulnerable, spy etc) and bonus points when players hit them. They can also shoot players, if you want them to ánd they can make action photo of players. You can add up to 8 PowerPods all throughout the arena.

Game

> Can you tell me more about the LaserPlay, laser tag for children?

Of course, we can! The LaserPlay is our laser tag system designed especially for children. The attractive colors of the LaserPlay ensures that every child will have so much fun playing lasergames. Of course the standard LaserMaxx quality also applies to the LaserPlay: very strong, durable materials, high-quality electronics and always the most modern equipment. The LaserPlay is ideal for any FEC or children's playground! Contact us for more information.

Game

> What is the anti-stalking option?

The anti-stalking option has been made to ensure there is no spawn shooting. A player can not shoot the same player a couple of times in a row, because it gives the player who was hit one second in which he can shoot but cannot be shot. In that second he can shoot his stalker. The anti-stalking option is a standard build in tool in LaserMaxx and a must for every laser tag arena because it ensures fair-play and a great fun time for everyone! You can find more information in the players section.

Game

> How is the laser tag game of LaserMaxx played?

The LaserMaxx lasergame is played by teams or individual players in a misty maze, firing bright laser beams at each other from their laser guns. Each player wears a lightweight vest covered with electronic sensors that detect when it is hit by a laser beam. The microprocessor in the vest perform all the difficult calculations real-time during the game. Individual players win points by hitting opponents with their laser beam and lose points by being hit. This way they contribute to the overall score of their team in case of a team game. Teams are recognized by the color of the lights on the player’s vest and gun. A player can gain extra powers during the game, enabling rapid fire, invisibility, sniper precision, invulnerability, or even a change of team color! PowerPods are placed at various places in the maze and can either deactivate a player or give him extra powers. Digital voices and sound effects are played on the speakers of the vest for an extra immersive play experience. What's more: the arena you are playing in can also be directly connected to the laser tag system and therefore react to what is happening in the game through lights, light effects, sounds and visuals. After the game is over, each player receives a scorecard showing exactly how many times he hit, or was hit by, each other player. The scorecard also shows the overall team scores, high scores and bonus points gained during the game. Even the accuracy of the shots for each player is given ánd the calorie consumption of each player. Large screens can show the game scores in the bar area and players can also review their statistics on their own mobile using the LaserMaxx player app.

Game

> I like to do marketing but I cannot create a good ad myself, what should I do?

We already have an amount of ads, pictures, flyers etc. available for free for you to communicate with. Be sure to send an inquiry to us once you are customer, so we can share them with you. Additionally, you are of course always free to hire a marketing bureau!

Marketing

> Do I get some marketing materials like photo or videos when I order the system?

Yes, absolutely. We have professionally made photos and videos you are free to use on your marketing, website or otherwise. Happy to give you a head start in that regard!

Marketing

> What should be the type of communication of my laser tag arena?

This purely depends on the country you are in, what type of people you aim for and what you yourself want to communicate. You can imagine that the communication to children is different than communication to businesses for corporate groups. The same principle works differently in communication in relation to countries. This difference is based upon differences in culture: what works for one country doesn't mean works for another country. The best ads are mostly done by you locally. However, we do have general ads and flyers for you to use!

Marketing

> What kind of message should I communicate?

This depends on the type of your target group(s). If you focus solely on children, be sure to make the message you want to communicate accordingly. If it is businesses you are focusing on, be sure to include certain aspects they can relate to. In all cases, be sure to communicate your unique selling points. Why should they go to your indoor arena? What is there for them to gain? What makes your arena better than other entertaining businesses in the area? Remember that you are offering an entertainment service and as such, see the message you are sending as an addition to this entertainment experience.

Marketing

> How can I make sure that people come back to play LaserMaxx?

There are several marketing techniques for that, mostly based upon Customer Relationship Management. To give you some idea now, it is wise to start gathering names, addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses the minute you start your business. Next, it is advised to explore your options about giving discounts to regular players and time-specific discounts (such as: easter holiday: 20% discounts for students). A specific theme night works wonders as well (e.g. Student Night). Remember that you can make as many discounts as you want, yet if people don't know about them, they will never come regardless of the discounts. That communication can done easily in two fold: General marketing: flyers, postcards, ads etc and Direct marketing: a mail or email to people, possibly via the contacts you have already gathered. Those are just two examples of the marketing possible. Always remember you are not selling a tangible product, like soap or salt, but an experience: your aim is to give the players a good time. Make sure your staff knows that and works in accordance to it as it means that staff has to be social and likable and that your communication is tuned to fit that vision. And remember the LaserMaxx lasertag itself is reason enough to come back!

Marketing

Remember that though you can have the best experience available, you can have the nicest staff available yet if you do not communicate it with your potential players, they can't possibly know. Be aware to continuously promoting your business. So, always do marketing and keep the marketing going even if you are reaching sky-high attendance rates!

Marketing

> How much should I spend on marketing?

We advise arenas to spend 10% to 20% of their budget to marketing, to ensure a sufficient level of marketing. This percentage is on yearly bases, as it is vital to keep the marketing running over a longer period of time to ensure profitability.

> How can I make sure my laser tag business will be as profitable as possible?

Look into the possibilities to have additional entertainment facilities such as the Mantiz (outdoor)arena, to have go-karts or bowling. This is not necessary, but it adds to the entertainment experience you are able to provide, and increases the range of your business. Anyway LaserMaxx will bring you a good profit alone also...

Tips

> What do you think will be the best sources of income?

There are several sources of income. One is of course the profits from the LaserMaxx itself. Another will be the benefits coming from the sale of food and beverages. If you have merchandise, that can be a potential source of income as well. Be creative!

Tips

> How much money should I charge my players per laser game?

We advise customers to charge approximately 5 times the price of a Coca-Cola at a local pub. In most western countries this comes down to €9,50 - €11,-. Note that this varies per country! To encourage players playing another time directly after, you might want to think of a 2 euro discount for every second game.

Tips

> What should I do when I want to open a LaserMaxx arena?

When you start a lasergame site, there are many things to do. Here are a few things that are very important and should be done as soon as possible: Think about who your players will be, where they come from, and what they want Find a location for your arena, instruction room, bar and other facilities Organize your financing Make sure you have all the local permits and licenses Talk to us about LaserMaxx systems Think about your theme (space, wild-west, urban, jungle, children, etc.) Start advertising weeks before your opening Start building the arena soon; this is much more work than you expect!

Tips

> What makes VirtualMaxx radically different from other VR systems?

Here's why: VirtualMaxx is the first VR system primarily made for volume. Where there are many VR systems allowing for 45 or even 60 minute games, VirtualMaxx excels at short (12-15 minute) games with an thrilling experience just like laser tag or just like karting: fast-paced, immersive. VirtualMaxx furthermore allows to be played in groups of well over 4 players. Imagine you have 16 karts and 16 karting tracks, you can also consider adding 16 VirtualMaxx player systems to allow that one group of 16 players to also play VR. This is good for your planning, but it also undoubtedly highly benefits your other entertaiment activities sales, F&B sales and more. Therefore VirtualMaxx is perfect to be used adjacant to your other activities.

Virtualmaxx

> How does VirtualMaxx work?

You will receive an operator system with the operator software. At this system you can pre-set all game parameters, input player names and basically control the whole system. You can even add DMX devices to this operator system allowing you to influence the player experiences using those devices. Each player will have a player system consisting of a strong (!) PC and the VR headset. On this PC the game software is installed. Players will wear the VR headset, and play the game with the game parameters as you have set this yourself. After the game they will naturally receive after-action reports and scorecards. That's the 'dry' explanation. The real explanation is that VirtualMaxx is a fun, beyond beautiful and immersive VR system that allows you to continuously draw players to your entertainment location and make the most profit for your square meters.

Virtualmaxx

> Why should I add VR to my entertainment mix?

Because having more entertainment activities strengthen your businesses. Your players will undoubtedly remain longer on-site, we're sure they will spend more on drinks and food and of course you can now offer play packages. Having more entertainment activities is always a good idea. Besides, VR is hot and at the very least it is a great marketing tool ('now also VR at my location'.) Why VirtualMaxx by itself is a good idea is because a few reasons. First and foremost: VirtualMaxx is affordable. Second: when developing VirtualMaxx we have used all our years of experience developing our laser tag systems allowing for a reliable product. Third: VirtualMaxx is scalable. You are not restricted to 4 players, but instead you can add as many VirtualMaxx installations to your location as you wish, allowing for the same group sizes you consider at your other activities. Do you have 16 karts and 16 LaserMaxx vests? You can also consider 16 VirtualMaxx installations.

Virtualmaxx

> How much space do I need for each VirtualMaxx player?

For space you would need approximately 16m2. You can also make it bigger or smaller as it is scalable (depending on your preference) yet 16m2 is best practice.

Virtualmaxx

> Why should I consider VirtualMaxx?

We've been experimenting with VR for quite some time: how can we give a commercial benefit to VR as opposed to home VR on one hand and on the other hand: how can we make sure that VR can be played in groups just like what makes laser tag commercially interesting. VirtualMaxx is our answer. For one: you can connect DMX devices to the system which in turn allows you to blow wind in a players face, or other cool effects while at the same time, all the games are intended to be played in groups: 12 minutes, similar price as you would ask for a round of laser tag. That, combined with a real LaserMaxx gun, and some clever other ways, we are sure that VirtualMaxx is a good and effective entertainment solution. It's affordable too!

Virtualmaxx

> Why is DMX important with VR?

DMX allows you to give value to the VR experience you offer. To explain how this works, first we need to explain DMX. DMX is an standard electronic protocol also used in theaters, clubs etc. In essence it allows computers to control electronics. Think of smoke machines, light effects and more. Now, how we use DMX with VR is that in our VR software we can program that an effect is triggered in real life. Think of this. You start in a room and then you walk to the street. A fan will blow wind in your face. To give an exaggarated example: you can even program the system so that the floor will start moving when you are experiencing an earthquake or vulcano eruptation in VR. Such effects are both beyond cool, but even more important: they allow you to give added value to the experience for your players.

Virtualmaxx

> How to style the room?

We see the room per player as a styled part of of the game. What we mean with this is that we feel it is imperative that walls etc. need to be designed with paint, similarly like done at laser tag arenas. The reason for this is because we feel that nothing gives a better entertainment boost than standing in real life in a room and in VR he will be in that exact same room! Naturally we will be delivering drawings with the system.

Virtualmaxx

> What kind of games and software are included with VirtualMaxx?

Our main software game is called 'Blade' as we were inspired by the BladeRunner movie for this. It's a neon-styled world in which players will hop from platform to platform finding and shooting each other and avoiding being shot. Even better: all throughout the city you will find powerups such as rapid fire, shields etc. The DMX adds another layer of immersion. Imagine being in the starting room and a door opens up to the world and suddenly actually experiencing wind in your face! When the game has ended there it is of course vital that you actually continue selling the experience to your players. We therefore deliver the game with styled after action results, scorecards with the game results and many more aspects that allow you to sell the experience well and beyond when the game has ended (vital!!). We can already do this, for the simple fact that we do the same in LaserMaxx.

Virtualmaxx

Lasersniper

> How much space do I need?

The complete system requires only little space (no more than 20 square meters), making it suitable for any amusement centers like karting-tracks, bowling-alleys, lasergames, FEC's and bars. A room with almost no lighting fits the best for a comfortable playing environment.

Lasersniper

> How does ambient light influence proper functioning of the LaserSniper?

Ambient light is less ideal when using the LaserSniper as it interferes with the detection of the laser. Make sure to eliminate as much unnecessary lighting as possible. Sunlight is specifically detrimentail to the calibration of the LaserSniper Detector. When you have eliminated all unnecessary lighting, right click on the LaserSniper driver icon which is located near your clock on the taskbar. Adjust the sensitivity slider to a position that makes the system reacts at it's best. The sensitivity slider also has an automatic function, when you drag the slider to the plus and release it. The system will then search for the best position if possible.

Lasersniper

> What are the system requirements for the PC?

Lasersniper

Mantiz

> In the Mantiz systeem, what are the guns used for?

Mantiz is a mobile-first laser tag system. Literally the only thing you do with the Mantiz gun is shooting and being shot. Everything else: shot feedback, sounds but also setting the play area and gameparameters is done through the Mantiz app.

Mantiz

> Is the Mantiz gun waterproof?

The gun is splashproof – so playing in the rain will be just fine.

Mantiz

> Is the Mantiz really capable of playing Battle Royale?

Yes, Mantiz allows for playing laser tag in Battle Royale style in the same fashion as you would experience in some of the major video games. Of course, video games will add additional features or game elements to Battle Royale which might not be suitable for playing a real-life laser tag Battle Royale. One such noticeable difference is that we do not deliver helicopters at the start of a game :-)

Mantiz

> How many players can play Mantiz at the same time?

Actually… up to 4000 players can play Mantiz at the same time. Really. You will probably run in all kinds of logistic challenges though :-)

Mantiz

> Are players able to cheat while playing Mantiz?

We have various protective measures in place to make it more difficult to cheat, however if a player wants to cheat, he/she can. This applies to all laser tag systems out there (unfortunately). You will however notice that in 99,9% of all cases, laser tag etiquette kicks in and players won’t cheat.

Mantiz

> What is the purpose of the button on the front of the gun?

This button needs to be pushed in order to be able to shoot. This button is there for two main reasons. First, it discourages cheating. Second it restricts the movement of the player. Especially when playing in close quarters, this limited movement makes sure that players won’t accidentally hurt other players swinging the gun around one-handed.

Mantiz

> What is the shot distance of the system?

The Mantiz system can easily shoot 250+ meters in daylight. Well enough for a fun game of laser tag outdoors!

Mantiz

> How does the system work?

The system works as follows. First, you will need a phone to be able to play the game. This can either be the phone of your player himself, or you deliver the phones to the players as some of our customers prefer. The phones need to be capable of internet connection (WIFI/4G/5G) to connect players to the game and it need to have Bluetooth capabilities to connect the phone to the gun. A game master sets up the game. This can either be done by yourself or by one of the players. After setting-up the game with all parameters, the players will then join and play the game.

Mantiz

> Do you continuously create new updates?

Yes, as we are one of the major entertainment manufactuers, you are assured of ongoing support, development ánd continious updates!

Virtualmaxx Roaming

Yes, VirtualMaxx Roaming reality is a freewalk or roaming system. This means that your players can walk freely throughout the space you have indicated for the game.

Virtualmaxx Roaming

> What is the difference between VirtualMaxx and VirtualMaxx Roaming?

Great question! So, the VirtualMaxx system and the VirtualMaxx Roaming system are two different systems. This is a really important aspect to understand. Our VirtualMaxx is a VR system that excels in volume (you can play this with up to 64 players!) and has an advanced teleporting feature to jump across a giant universe, all while competing against your friends. The VirtualMaxx Roaming system on the other hand is a VR system that can be played up to 8 players and allows you to walk around the full area, fully wirelessly. The main benefit of this last system is obvious: it's wireless and you can play it basically in any empty space. Wondering about what is the best choice for you? Contact us today!

Virtualmaxx Roaming

> How many gamestyles does the VirtualMaxx Roaming feature?

VirtualMaxx Roaming can be played in two main game styles: either a solo game or a team game. There are many variables within these main game styles that allow you to diversify each individual gamestyle!

Virtualmaxx Roaming

Other

> My English is not very good, but I would like to open a laser tag business, what should I do?

Our representatives are able to speak world's major languages. Just get in touch with us and we get you sorted.

Other

> How much staff do I need for my laser tag arena?

This depends on a couple of things, some guidelines are this: 1) You need approx 1 or 2 operators per 20 people playing. 2) Do you have food and beverages? You can either choose to let an operator do that, but perhaps it is a good idea to have an extra person for that, especially in weekends.

Other

> Why do you have plugins?

Because we believe that customizing a system gives an added value. You can customize virtually anything you would like in the LaserMaxx systems, in the software as operator but also in what system you want. That makes every system unique and perfectly suited for your needs and desires. Of course we can offer you help in making the right choices and of course we have a default setting but you can also choose your own product preferences and settings. You can always add plugins later if you want to!

Other

> How do you send your laser tag products to me?

We use the DAP-method inside the EU and the DAT-method outside the EU as per Incoterms 2010. Cost of shipment is included in the price already! This means that any transport costs or risks are paid for or borne by us. The only thing we ask of you is that you take care of any import documentation and related costs, if applicable, specific to your country. Shipment of product is usually done by fast shipping which means that you will receive the items as soon as possible!
